I’m starting to detect the pattern in Apple announcements:

1. Truly astonishing leaps in speed and capacity.
2. Since I don’t even edit my photos much, let alone videos or music sources, far more power than I need.
3. When my current computer gets old (or I have an excuse to hand it down generationally), I’ll be blown away by a new [whatever] close to the bottom end, which will have more power than I need (but gratifying speed increases anyway).
4. I spend much of my time during the presentation wondering how much time went into coaching the presenters to how to project power and authority.
