I once cheered abolition of two things that I now kinda miss::
- Military draft. I suspect that the all-volunteer military is weaker than one that conscripts people with other options.
- FCC’s “Fairness Doctrine.” Maybe the demolition of channel limitations by the internet made this inevitable.
