The Great Divorce is probably the most consequential book in my life, Bible aside.
It made me ask “what are you doing to avoid becoming one who refuses Heaven’s invitation?” I saw no answer in traditions that said “you don’t need to do *any*thing.” Surely ego must be mortified!
